5th Annual National PsychConsult Provider User Group
Askesis announces the 5th Annual National PsychConsult Provider User Group meeting was another success! For the fifth consecutive year, we had record attendance, including several first time attendees. As in past years, the agenda was primarily designed by the Leadership Subcommittee of our User Group, and included several breakout sessions allowing users to brainstorm and share ideas with other like-minded users as well as Askesis staff. In addition, we were honored to welcome two Keynote Speakers who spoke to the challenges of reporting on Clinical and Provider data. A reception was held at the Heinz History Center, which provided a beautiful setting and an opportunity to learn about the history of our city!

When disaster struck, Askesis was there to help
Iroquois Center for Human Development, Inc. in Greensburg, Kansas, an Askesis Development Group, Inc. customer, experienced catastrophic losses when an F5 tornado ripped through their town on May 5, 2007. Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic Physicians Go Electronic
Over the past year, Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic (WPIC) physicians have been entering clinical documentation into the psychiatric Ambulatory eRecord (PsychConsult). System enhancements were designed to facilitate physician documentation process within a single unified screen. The project incorporated the input of more than 20 WPIC physicians in the development.
